Procurement and Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Procurement and Logistics Specialist will manage the sourcing, purchasing and transportation of aluminium profiles, glass, hardware and related construction materials for our production lines. You will work closely with engineering, production, sales and finance teams to ensure material availability while controlling costs and maintaining supplier quality.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and maintain reliable suppliers for aluminium, glass, accessories and related items.
• Request, compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times and delivery conditions.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with approved budgets and specifications.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, pricing and delivery reliability.
• Coordinate local and international shipments, arrange freight forwarders and verify import/export documentation.
• Track shipments, manage delivery schedules with warehouse and production, and resolve delays, shortages or damages.
• Maintain up‑to‑date supplier databases, price lists and procurement records.
• Develop alternative sources for critical materials to minimise supply‑chain disruptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement and logistics experience, preferably in aluminium, glass, façade, windows & doors, construction materials or manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation and vendor‑management abilities.
• Good knowledge of purchasing and inventory procedures.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
