Procurement Expert – Centralized Procurement & Contracting

About the role

The Procurement Expert will lead the centralized procurement and contracting function for a network of affiliated environmental centers. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures transparent, compliant, and cost‑effective sourcing across all centers while supporting sustainability and governance objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement unified procurement strategies and annual plans for all environmental centers.
• Standardize processes, templates, and frameworks to align with national procurement regulations and internal policies.
• Refine procurement methodologies to improve sustainability, transparency, and operational efficiency.
• Leverage collective purchasing power to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
• Analyze market dynamics, pricing, and supplier capabilities to guide sourcing decisions.
• Coordinate inter‑center procurement needs and consolidate them into an integrated annual plan.
• Prepare, review, and issue RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents in collaboration with technical and legal teams.
• Supervise bid evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendations ensuring fairness and compliance.
• Manage post‑award activities, including contract execution, performance monitoring, and amendments.
• Analyze procurement data, develop dashboards and KPIs, and present quarterly performance reports to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement and contracting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management capabilities.
