Procurement Manager (IT)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our IT procurement function. The successful candidate will drive supplier strategy, ensure cost-effective sourcing of hardware, software and services, and uphold strict governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual and operational procurement plans aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define specifications and select suitable suppliers.
• Manage the full purchase request lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Source, evaluate and manage suppliers based on quality, delivery and commercial criteria.
• Lead complex negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with procurement governance policies and internal controls.
• Oversee issuance, tracking and completion of purchase orders.
• Review invoices and coordinate with finance for timely payments.
• Monitor supply and delivery processes, resolving quality or supply chain issues.
• Maintain and improve the supplier database for accuracy and accessibility.
• Prepare regular reports on performance, costs, savings and supply status for senior management.
• Continuously improve procurement policies, processes and systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of contractual and pricing information.
• Provide leadership and performance management to the procurement team, if applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years progressive procurement experience, including 3–4 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in IT-related procurement and established relationships with hardware, software and infrastructure suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of procurement governance, compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to develop procurement plans, manage costs and deliver measurable savings.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
