Procurement Officer – Luxury Hotel Construction

About the role

We are looking for a high‑caliber Procurement Officer with proven experience in luxury hotel construction to join a leading main contractor in Riyadh. The role demands a commercially sharp, resilient professional who can thrive in a fast‑track project environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement of construction materials, FF&E packages, MEP, finishes, specialist works and services.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate and manage suppliers and subcontractors to achieve optimal cost, quality and delivery.
• Ensure procurement aligns with project specifications, budgets and construction schedules.
• Proactively manage long‑lead and critical items, identifying and mitigating supply risks.
• Collaborate closely with Project, Commercial, Engineering, QA/QC, Logistics and Finance teams.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reporting and controls through SAP/ERP.
• Drive cost optimisation and sustain strong supplier performance throughout the project.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of procurement experience with a major main contractor.
• Demonstrated experience on luxury hotels, 5‑star hospitality, high‑end residential or similarly high‑specification projects.
• Strong knowledge of hotel construction materials, high‑end finishes, MEP and specialist packages.
• Excellent negotiation, commercial, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Smart, proactive, resilient and highly accountable with strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP/ERP procurement modules.
