Procurement Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Supervisor to lead the sourcing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment for our manufacturing operations in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on delivering cost‑effective purchases while maintaining quality and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Buy materials, parts, supplies and equipment in a timely, cost‑effective manner while meeting quality standards.
• Identify and interview vendors, negotiate prices, terms and conditions.
• Coordinate with accounts payable to ensure suppliers are paid on time and report aged payments.
• Report department KPIs, analyse deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage audit action plans, work with auditors and close open items promptly.
• Develop payment terms, reduce cash purchases and maintain an up‑to‑date price matrix.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, conduct annual supplier evaluations and highlight risks of price increases or shortages.
• Implement procurement strategies, ensure purchase orders comply with policy and maintain at least three qualified suppliers per item.
• Resolve product quality, delivery or service discrepancies and handle vendor grievances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5‑8 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing, packaging or related industries.
• Experience with both foreign and local purchasing processes in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven ability to analyse data, drive cost‑reduction programs and develop specifications.
