Product Development Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Product Development Supervisor to lead the end‑to‑end development and enhancement of insurance products that meet market needs and align with the company’s strategic objectives. The role oversees the full product lifecycle, from ideation through launch, and works closely with underwriting, marketing, actuarial, IT, compliance and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify market trends, customer needs and opportunities for new or improved insurance products.
• Lead product ideation, development and enhancement initiatives.
• Manage product filing and approval processes with regulatory and compliance teams.
• Prepare detailed product specifications and documentation.
• Coordinate with Operations Excellence to ensure alignment with processes and performance targets.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on product launch strategies.
• Provide post‑launch feedback, insights and action plans.
• Maintain and update the product catalogue and development road‑maps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in insurance product development or product management.
• Post‑graduate studies or certifications in insurance, analytics or performance management are an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of insurance product structures and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of underwriting and actuarial functions.
• Experience with project management tools.
• Expertise in product development lifecycle management.
• Strong project leadership and coordination abilities.
