Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer will evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for cabinet production in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The role combines product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and material knowledge with hands‑on collaboration with technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify and maintain manufacturing processes for cabinets.
• Initiate and implement solutions that improve yield and reduce cost.
• Apply Lean methodologies to eliminate non‑value‑added operations.
• Conduct industrial engineering activities such as time studies, line layout and capacity studies.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation and cabinet books.
• Provide technical support and training to technicians.
• Lead cross‑functional groups on engineering issues related to manufacturing operations.
• Use statistical and problem‑solving tools to resolve production problems and report performance to management.
• Continuously evaluate material flow, review key process indicators and optimize existing processes.
• Ensure compliance with international workmanship standards for mechanical assembly and wiring, and train staff as needed.

Required profile

• B.S. in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience with DeltaV hardware.
• Preferred experience supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with ERP systems such as Oracle.
