Project Director - Infrastructure

About the role

WSP is looking for an accomplished Project Director to lead the delivery of large‑scale infrastructure and masterplan development programmes across Saudi Arabia. This senior, client‑facing position provides strategic direction from planning through to close‑out, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with the Kingdom’s ambitious development agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Define execution strategies, governance frameworks, delivery plans and performance objectives.
• Act as the primary client interface, building strong relationships with government authorities, developers and infrastructure agencies.
• Represent WSP at steering committees, executive meetings and project review forums.
• Oversee project financial performance, budgets, forecasting, profitability and commercial controls.
• Monitor risks, implement mitigation measures and manage change control, variations and commercial issues.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with leading international engineering consultancies.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale infrastructure and masterplan projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong technical background in civil engineering.
• Senior client‑facing leadership with excellent stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary programmes.
