Project Director – Mixed‑Use Development

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a high‑profile mixed‑use development. The role acts as the Client’s representative within the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team, overseeing design, construction, cost, schedule and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership for the project, establishing governance frameworks, reporting structures and execution plans.
• Develop and maintain an integrated master programme covering design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Monitor contractor and consultant schedules, identify variances and drive corrective actions to meet milestones.
• Control project cost through budget tracking, change evaluation and value‑engineering initiatives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design reviews (architectural, structural, MEP, specialist systems) and resolve design clashes.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, technical requirements and local authority approvals.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring contract compliance, quality, safety and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, mixed‑use development projects.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, risk and stakeholder management.
• Ability to represent the Client’s interests and make decisive decisions.
