Project Engineer

About the role

Sulzer is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical execution of pumping system projects in Riyadh. You will ensure projects meet specifications, stay within budget, and are delivered on schedule while supporting the company’s sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to track deliveries and procurement.
• Manage interdisciplinary coordination to achieve project objectives.
• Facilitate technical meetings (HAZOP, P&ID, 3D model reviews) and close actions promptly.
• Prepare and issue project documentation such as specifications, plans, and requisitions.
• Review bid requisitions, perform technical evaluations, and recommend equipment awards.
• Identify, control, and process change orders and project impacts.
• Support production activities and conduct weekly project reviews.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Engineering (Project Management specialization preferred).
• PMP certification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the Energy & Infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and planning tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English communication and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Project management software (e.g., MS Project).
• HAZOP analysis.
• P&ID creation and review.
• 3D modeling tools.
