Project Lead

About the role

GulfNet Solutions is seeking a Project Lead to drive the successful delivery of instrumentation, control, electrical and automation projects across the GCC. The role oversees the entire project lifecycle, from award through completion, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from planning to close‑out, developing execution plans, schedules and resource allocations.
• Coordinate technical and commercial activities with clients, engineering, procurement, logistics, finance, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Monitor progress, budgets, schedules and deliverables; maintain risk registers and implement mitigation plans.
• Oversee procurement of long‑lead items, supplier follow‑up and delivery schedules.
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, invoicing and project close‑out activities.
• Serve as primary client contact, handling technical clarifications, inspections and project reviews.
• Track project KPIs, prepare progress reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead project engineers, technical supervisors and technicians, fostering collaboration across cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading instrumentation, control, electrical and automation projects from award to completion.
• Strong ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated risk management, documentation and reporting skills.
• Experience supervising engineering, procurement and field teams.
