Project Manager - Roads & Bridges

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, execution and delivery of bridge and transportation infrastructure projects. You will manage multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects meet contractual requirements, budgets, schedules, quality standards, HSE obligations and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project planning and execution from inception to completion, developing execution plans and delivery strategies.
• Manage resources, construction activities and programme milestones to achieve scope, quality, schedule, budget and safety objectives.
• Coordinate design consultants, construction teams, contractors and authorities, reviewing engineering deliverables for constructability.
• Handle design changes, technical issues and lead multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Monitor contractual compliance, review variations, claims and change requests, and support commercial negotiations.
• Develop and track project schedules, identify risks and implement recovery plans.
• Serve as primary contact for stakeholders, lead client meetings and communicate project status.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, maintaining risk registers and leading review workshops.
• Ensure works comply with specifications, standards and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering bridge and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of contractual obligations, including FIDIC contracts.
• Experience in risk identification, mitigation and stakeholder communication.
