Project Mechanical Engineer – Secret Clearance (PSAB ESS)

About the role

KBR is seeking a Project Mechanical Engineer to support the Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) project in Saudi Arabia. The role involves delivering architectural and engineering services that enable Base Operating Support‑Installation (BOS‑I) for the 378 Air Expeditionary Wing and associated tenant units. A Secret security clearance is required.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee repair and maintenance of War Reserve Material (WRM) assets.
• Provide electrical engineering support to ensure projects meet mission requirements.
• Develop and administer Activity/Asset Management Plans (AMP) that align with Air Force objectives and lifecycle management.
• Prepare scope of work, design documents, and record drawings for various projects.
• Update the 378 Engineering Flight Chief regularly and brief upcoming projects before solicitation.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. laws, Saudi Labor Law, and U.S. EPA guidelines.
• Be available within two hours of notification to meet with Government personnel on‑site.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of relevant mechanical or electrical engineering experience.
• Possession of a Secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with War Reserve Material assets and base‑level engineering operations.
• Ability to respond quickly to urgent on‑site requirements.
