Project Planning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Planning Engineer to join our Projects & Operations team. The role focuses on developing and managing detailed project schedules to ensure safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery across various sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and define project goals, objectives, and detailed schedules.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities for smooth execution.
• Prepare short‑ and long‑term resource allocation plans.
• Monitor project progress, risks, milestones, and schedule performance.
• Identify scope changes and support planning adjustments.
• Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports.
• Gather actual project data, update schedules, and produce reliable forecasts.
• Support Project Managers in Integrated Baseline Review and baseline schedule development.
• Coordinate client planning activities and respond to customer requirements.
• Prepare and manage risk assessments for assigned projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater, Electrical, or related project environments.
• Experience with key clients such as Aramco, SABIC, Marafiq, SWCC is preferred.
