Project Risk Manager

About the role

Hatch, in partnership with Ma'aden, is delivering major mining and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. The Project Risk Manager will lead risk management activities from planning through execution, ensuring governance, stakeholder engagement and alignment with scope, budget, schedule and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project risk management framework and risk register.
• Facilitate risk assessments, quantitative risk analyses, HAZOP and safety studies.
• Coordinate with project controls to embed risk controls in budget and schedule.
• Provide risk management training and promote a risk‑aware culture.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary engineering or business degree with a professional risk or project management designation.
• Minimum 10 years experience in risk management on large mining or infrastructure projects.
• Experience facilitating workshops and training large groups.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of ISO 31000, AACE International, CII and PMI standards.
• Proficiency with risk management tools such as Active Risk Manager, Safran Risk, @Risk, Omega 360.
• Strong understanding of cost estimating, project scheduling principles and scenario planning.
