About the role
The Purchasing Manager will support the Materials Manager in ensuring the hotel’s material needs are met efficiently and cost‑effectively. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth operations by handling procurement activities, vendor development, and contract administration in line with hotel policies.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Materials Manager in planning and executing material procurement for the hotel.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to secure quality supplies and favorable terms.
- Administer contracted services, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely deliveries to support hotel operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand material requirements and forecast demand.
Required profile
- University degree or diploma in Finance or Hospitality/Tourism Management.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Purchasing Manager or Assistant Purchasing Manager in a large‑scale operation.
- Strong problem‑solving, administrative, and interpersonal abilities.
