Purchasing Manager

About the role

Saudi Mais, a leading medical device manufacturer in the Middle East, is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to strengthen its Supply Chain team. The role focuses on driving procurement strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing supplier relationships for high‑quality single‑use medical disposables.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy and supplier qualification in collaboration with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Ensure procurement compliance with ISO 13485 and applicable GMP requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance through quality, delivery, and cost KPIs.
• Lead, coach, and develop the purchasing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or Pharmacy.
• Professional certification preferred (CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, CPM).
• Minimum 7 years of procurement/supply chain experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Prior experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or another regulated manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and supplier risk management.
• Saudi nationals are preferred.
