QA Lead Engineer

About the role

CoorB is seeking a QA Lead Engineer to define and execute a comprehensive quality assurance strategy across multiple products and platforms. The role blends hands‑on automation expertise with leadership responsibilities, driving continuous testing, process improvement, and a quality‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end QA strategy, including test planning, automation, performance, and release validation.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Lead, mentor, and coach QA engineers, providing technical guidance and career development.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product requirements are testable and aligned with quality objectives.
• Integrate automated testing pipelines within CI/CD processes to enable continuous delivery.
• Drive performance, load, and security testing strategies to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Evaluate and standardize automation tools, technologies, and best practices across projects.
• Champion data‑driven testing approaches and maintain visibility into product quality through KPIs and dashboards.
• Lead defect triage meetings, coordinate release testing, and ensure timely defect resolution and risk reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 6–10 years of software testing experience, including at least 3 years in a QA Lead or similar leadership role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Automation frameworks and tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit.
• Programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript.
• CI/CD integration: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
• API and backend testing: Postman, RestAssured.
• Performance testing: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, k6.
• Test management and bug tracking: Jira, TestRail.
