QA/QC Architecture Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented QA/QC Architecture Engineer to ensure that all architectural works are executed in line with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and applicable codes. The role involves conducting inspections, preparing quality documentation, and coordinating with project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect architectural works to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Prepare and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants and clients.
• Raise, monitor, and close Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions.
• Review and approve Inspection Requests (IRs) before submission.
• Verify that construction materials meet approved submittals and project specifications.
• Monitor finishing works such as blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, ceilings, painting, doors, windows, and flooring.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, inspection records, test reports, and quality logs.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and prepare regular quality reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Architectural Engineer or QA/QC Architecture Engineer.
• Experience in building construction and architectural finishing works.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection processes, and quality documentation.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Familiarity with IRs, ITPs, Method Statements, MIRs, and NCRs.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes and quality management systems.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
