QA/QC Engineer – Fit-Out Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our project team on fit‑out projects. The role is ideal for professionals with a civil engineering or architectural background who want to focus on quality assurance and control throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance plans aligned with project specifications and client requirements.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect materials, workmanship, and construction methods; perform quality testing and sampling.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, quality checklists, non‑conformance reports and maintain comprehensive quality records.
• Verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, building codes and relevant standards (MOI, SPA, international codes).
• Identify, document and track defects; coordinate corrective actions and re‑inspection.
• Inspect incoming materials and equipment; verify certifications, test reports and purchase order compliance.
• Liaise between design team, contractors and clients to resolve quality‑related issues.
• Manage project punch lists and ensure rectification of non‑conformances prior to handover.
• Conduct quality awareness sessions with site teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain photographic records of construction progress and quality issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in construction/fit‑out projects with hands‑on QA/QC responsibilities.
• Proven experience on fit‑out, MEP or interior construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, specifications and building codes (Saudi Building Code, MOI standards preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving and communication skills in English and Arabic.
