QHSE Officer – Facilities Management (O&M)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive QHSE Officer to support our Facilities Management (FM) operations. The role will drive the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment standards across active project sites, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular QHSE inspections, site walks, audits and compliance assessments across FM project sites.
• Monitor implementation of HSE policies, permits, risk assessments and method statements.
• Identify unsafe acts, conditions, quality deficiencies and non‑compliance, and follow up corrective and preventive actions to closure.
• Support investigations of incidents, accidents, near‑misses and non‑conformities, preparing clear reports.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, inspection records, audit reports, training records and compliance tracking systems.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety briefings, awareness campaigns and site‑level QHSE training sessions.
• Coordinate with operations teams, maintenance personnel, supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives on all QHSE matters.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, company standards, client requirements and project‑specific procedures.
• Monitor PPE use, work‑at‑height activities, electrical safety, housekeeping, waste management, emergency preparedness and permit‑to‑work controls.
• Support internal and external audits and assist in closing audit findings within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in QHSE/HSE roles within Facilities Management, Integrated FM, O&M or large‑scale operational projects.
• Saudi nationals are encouraged to apply in line with Saudization requirements.

Required skills

• Knowledge of site safety practices, risk assessments, incident reporting, audits and corrective action processes.
• Familiarity with Saudi regulatory requirements and client‑driven QHSE procedures.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 (preferred).
