QMS Auditor

About the role

Lucid is seeking a QMS Auditor to lead the execution of its AMP-2 Internal Audit Program. The auditor will evaluate compliance with ISO 9001, automotive quality requirements, and Lucid’s internal standards across all business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the AMP-2 Internal Audit Program covering all QMS processes and support functions.
• Conduct, document, and report process, system, compliance, and follow‑up audits.
• Assess effectiveness, compliance, performance, and maturity of processes against ISO 9001, Lucid standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Identify gaps, non‑conformities, risks, and improvement opportunities; communicate findings to process owners and leadership.
• Verify root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, containment actions, and effectiveness reviews.
• Monitor audit findings, track action‑plan closure, and escalate overdue or high‑risk items.
• Perform risk‑based audits and gap assessments to support continual compliance and certification readiness.
• Support external certification, surveillance, customer, and conformity audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience conducting internal audits within an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and automotive quality standards.
• Ability to evaluate process interactions, ownership, and the Process Approach.
• Experience with risk‑based auditing, gap assessments, and corrective‑action verification.
• Excellent analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and impact evaluation on product quality and compliance.
