Quality Engineer – Electrical Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure that all electrical works for the 132 kV UGC project are delivered in line with project specifications, quality standards and applicable codes. The role covers the full project lifecycle from planning through inspection, testing and hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enforce the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and overall Quality Management System.
• Define quality metrics and assurance objectives for manufacturing and construction activities.
• Conduct inspections, supervise testing of materials, equipment and electrical systems, and verify workmanship compliance.
• Monitor site activities, ensure adherence to project requirements, codes and regulations.
• Review and approve project documents, drawings, specifications and construction methods for quality compliance.
• Identify non‑conformances, investigate root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports, NCRs and corrective action reports.
• Support internal and external audits and coordinate with clients, consultants and auditors on quality matters.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing and measuring equipment.
• Provide quality‑related training and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management principles.
• Analytical problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Experience in electrical project environments, preferably high‑voltage infrastructure.
