Quantity Surveyor

About the role

OSUS is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its construction team. You will be responsible for accurate measurement, valuation and cost management of projects, ensuring financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and value works on‑site and from drawings for valuations and variations.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities for tendering and construction administration.
• Analyse tender estimates, evaluate bids and assist with pricing of system‑based BOQs.
• Develop accurate costings for materials, labour and site development, and conduct price comparisons.
• Negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contracts, source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare interim and final development appraisals, budgets and ensure timely contractor payments.
• Verify claims, attend development and groundworker meetings, and provide cost advice in design meetings.
• Administer contracts and resolve contractual or commercial issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation or related roles.
• Proven experience dealing with consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Professional proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
