Quarry Engineer

About the role

Surbana Jurong Group is seeking an experienced Quarry Engineer to manage quarry sourcing and ensure the quality of rock materials used in breakwater and marine projects. The role involves overseeing all quarry operations, guaranteeing that rock grading meets project specifications, and collaborating closely with marine construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily quarry operations and production schedules.
• Ensure rock material grading and quality meet marine construction standards.
• Coordinate material supply with marine construction teams to meet project timelines.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Report on quarry performance, material quality, and any issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in quarry or mining operations.
• Proven experience delivering rock materials for marine works such as breakwaters.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures for rock grading.
• Ability to work on-site and manage multidisciplinary teams.
