Red Team Consultant – Cloud Security

About the role

As a Red Team Consultant you will deliver offensive cybersecurity services for clients across the Middle East, helping them assess and improve their defenses in cloud, network and endpoint environments. You will work within Mandiant’s Google Cloud practice, performing red‑ and purple‑team engagements, creating tools and sharing knowledge with the team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute red‑team and purple‑team assessments, including adversarial emulation of cyber‑attacks.
• Provide technical and process‑based security advice to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain offensive tools and scripts using languages such as Python, C#, C/C++, Rust or Nim.
• Research emerging attack techniques and incorporate threat‑actor intelligence into engagements.
• Produce detailed reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
• Scope engagements, lead project teams from kickoff through remediation, and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in at least three security domains (e.g., network, red‑team, EDR evasion, cloud, social engineering, scripting, tool development).
• Experience with operating‑system security on Windows and Linux.
• Relevant offensive‑security certifications (OSCE, OSEP, OSCP, CCSAS, CCT INF, etc.) are a plus.
• Proven ability to develop payloads, perform lateral movement, privilege escalation and EDR evasion.
