Reliability Engineer II

About the role

We are seeking a Reliability Engineer II to ensure the reliability and availability of major instrument equipment and critical systems at our Yanbu plant. Reporting to the Superintendent of Reliability & Engineering, you will review designs, update maintenance strategies, monitor equipment data and lead reliability‑centered analyses to meet KPI targets.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update maintenance strategies for major instrument equipment and critical systems.
• Monitor and analyse performance data, identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and facilitate Reliability‑Centered Maintenance (RCM) analyses and ensure implementation of recommendations.
• Document activities, track progress and communicate findings to senior engineers.
• Maintain high HSE standards and support safe work practices.
• Troubleshoot unit problems and provide technical support to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrument Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in reliability, instrumentation or related engineering roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and reliability software such as SAP, Meridiam or RCA tools.
• Statistical analysis and measurement techniques.
• Knowledge of mechanical codes and standards.
• Reliability engineering and inspection/integrity engineering expertise.
• Experience with damage mechanisms, fitness‑for‑service assessments, and piping/vessel/heat‑exchanger inspection.
• Welding inspection and change‑control procedures.
• Process safety management and incident/accident investigation.
