Repair & Maintenance Specialist III – Logging While Drilling (LWD)

About the role

The Repair and Maintenance Specialist III will support the reliability‑based maintenance strategy for Weatherford’s Logging While Drilling (LWD) product line. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and field technicians, the role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and refurbishing LWD tools both in the workshop and on client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced repairs, refurbishments and mandatory modifications on LWD tools and systems.
• Conduct detailed diagnostics using manual and computerized methods to identify faults.
• Schedule and coordinate workload with Repair and Maintenance Technicians.
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for field equipment.
• Provide on‑site technical support, training and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and equipment performance.
• Assist in creating maintenance schedules, procedures and contribute feedback for equipment design improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safety‑first culture.

Required profile

• High Diploma (or equivalent) with 5‑7 years of experience repairing and troubleshooting LWD sensors and DS tools.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and self‑motivation.
