Reservation Manager / Assistant Manager

About the role

As a Reservation Manager or Assistant Manager at Hilton, you will lead the reservations team and oversee group sales and planning functions. You will ensure smooth daily operations, optimise revenue, and deliver memorable guest experiences through attentive service and strategic inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily reservations operations, including room inventory, group blocks, cut‑off dates, rate restrictions and occupancy strategies.
• Coordinate group reservations, process rooming lists, billing requirements and special requests, and communicate with meeting planners and internal departments.
• Assist with revenue optimisation by monitoring reservations activity and supporting rate and occupancy strategies.
• Provide reservations support to team members and customers, handling requests and ensuring high service standards.
• Prepare reports, assist with departmental projects and offer administrative support to reservations leadership.
• Supervise, coach and develop team members, monitor performance and foster a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in reservations, revenue or hotel operations, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong administrative, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on identifying revenue opportunities.
• Positive, adaptable attitude committed to team success and guest satisfaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel reservation systems such as OnQ PM, R&I, Delphi and IDeaS GRO v3.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
