Restaurant Host – Saudi Nationals Only

About the role

We are looking for a courteous and professional Restaurant Host to welcome guests at our Al Khobar hotel. The role is dedicated to Saudi nationals and involves managing the front‑of‑house flow, ensuring smooth opening and closing of the outlet, and supporting the service team to maximise guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Assistant Restaurant Manager and arrive punctually in full uniform following Kempinski grooming standards.
• Greet guests, handle enquiries, and direct them to their tables while maintaining a friendly and efficient service.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including checking supplies, equipment, and maintaining cleanliness of the work area.
• Operate the POS system, process orders and payments, and assist with upselling menu items.
• Monitor inventory, reduce waste, and report any shortages or equipment issues.
• Record and forward guest complaints to supervisors, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and assist with periodic inventory counts.
• Adhere to hotel policies on fire safety, hygiene, health and safety, and maintain a clean, organised environment.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Al Khobar.
• Strong personal appearance, hygiene and adherence to dress code.
• Good communication skills and a courteous attitude towards guests.
• Willingness to follow instructions, report issues promptly and work collaboratively with the team.
