Risk, Regulatory & Forensic Manager (Financial Risk)

About the role

We are seeking a Manager to lead Risk, Regulatory and Forensic activities within Deloitte’s Financial Risk practice in Saudi Arabia. The role will support clients and internal stakeholders by strengthening operational risk frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering forensic insights.

Key responsibilities

• Update and align the Operational Risk Management (ORM) policy with CMA Prudential Rules (Pillar 2/3).
• Standardise risk taxonomy across fraud, ICT, process and legal domains and develop scoring scales.
• Refresh or create risk registers for all business units and facilitate workshops to identify and map risks.
• Produce heat‑maps and visual 5x5 matrices to display inherent versus residual risk levels.
• Establish and maintain a library of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Control Indicators (KCIs) with clear thresholds.
• Build and maintain an incident loss database, conduct root‑cause analysis and develop remediation methodologies.
• Perform challenge sessions and control testing to validate risk scores and control effectiveness.
• Prepare semi‑annual operational risk dashboards for the Risk Committee and deliver training on incident reporting and register maintenance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational risk, regulatory compliance or forensic risk within financial services.
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian regulatory environment, especially CMA Prudential Rules.
• Ability to lead workshops, communicate complex risk concepts and influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated analytical mindset and attention to detail.
