Rock Climbing Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Rock Climbing Instructor to join SportPlex in Jeddah. The successful candidate will lead safe, engaging climbing and bouldering sessions for participants of all ages and abilities, fostering confidence and a love for the sport.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver climbing and bouldering sessions for children, teens and adults.
• Supervise climbing walls, conduct safety checks and ensure equipment is in proper condition.
• Coach participants, monitor progress and adapt activities to individual skill levels.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive environment and promote safe climbing practices.
• Respond to emergencies according to established procedures.

Required profile

• Recognized qualification as a climbing, bouldering or climbing‑wall instructor.
• Proven experience teaching climbing skills, preferably with children and young people.
• Knowledge of climbing safety, equipment inspection and emergency protocols.
• First Aid and safeguarding training.
• Strong communication and group‑management abilities; good English, Arabic a plus.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, school holidays and camp periods.
