Sales Engineer

About the role

The Sales Engineer will generate new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key customers across an assigned region. The role includes traveling for product demonstrations, collaborating with internal teams, and negotiating contracts to meet sales and profit targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales revenue and net‑profit goals.
• Maintain sales volumes, balanced brand mix, and grow both new and existing accounts.
• Identify and engage potential customers in the marine industry to expand market presence.
• Conduct outbound activities such as cold calling, email outreach, and networking events.
• Manage a pipeline of qualified leads using CRM software and provide accurate forecasts.
• Perform product demonstrations and on‑site visits to showcase features and benefits.
• Collaborate with purchasing, marketing, technical, and order‑management teams for a seamless client experience.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while monitoring collections with the Accounts Receivable team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marine or related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of sales experience in the marine or related industry.
• Proven track record of generating new business and managing a sales pipeline.
• Experience conducting product demonstrations and site visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Experience using sales tools.
