Sales Executive - Environmental Services

About the role

SGS is seeking a proactive Sales Executive to drive growth of its Environmental Services portfolio in Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing client enquiries, preparing proposals, and building long‑term relationships with customers across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to online and offline enquiries from existing and potential clients.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities for environmental testing and field services.
• Handle tenders, RFQs, RFPs and quotation requests, coordinating with technical teams to ensure accurate specifications.
• Prepare and submit quotations, proposals and tender documents within deadlines.
• Promote and sell services such as air quality testing, emission/stack testing, industrial hygiene monitoring, workplace assessments, environmental surveys and other laboratory/field testing.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and site visits, both virtually and face‑to‑face.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline, enquiry tracker and customer database.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and potential new clients to support business development strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in environmental testing, HSE, industrial hygiene or related technical services.
• Proven track record of handling enquiries, tenders, RFQs and quotations.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market; a KSA driving licence is a plus.
• Target‑oriented, proactive and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Required skills

• Knowledge of environmental testing services (air quality, emission, industrial hygiene, workplace assessments).
• Experience preparing technical proposals and tender documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
