Sales Manager – Automotive Showroom (KSA)

About the role

The Sales Manager is responsible for the full commercial performance of the Al‑Futtaim Automotive BYD showroom in Saudi Arabia. This role drives unit sales, gross margin, F&I penetration and overall customer experience while leading a multi‑layered sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver monthly and annual targets for unit sales, gross margin, accessories, trade‑in conversions and F&I penetration.
• Manage the showroom P&L by controlling pricing, discounting strategy, cost structures and inventory performance.
• Lead, coach and develop Sales Supervisors, Executives, Coordinators and Guest Relations teams, setting KPIs and handling performance reviews.
• Maintain strategic relationships with the OEM, finance partners and corporate/fleet customers to support stock allocation and financing performance.
• Ensure showroom presentation, vehicle display and customer journey meet OEM brand standards and drive NPS/CSV improvements.
• Submit accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports and analytics while ensuring compliance with KYC, anti‑fraud and internal audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 7–10 years progressive automotive retail sales experience, including at least 3 years in a sales‑manager or showroom‑manager role within a franchised dealership.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in CRM and Dealer Management Systems (DMS) for sales reporting and analytics.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
• In‑depth knowledge of F&I products, financing structures and trade‑in valuation processes.
• Ability to analyse sales performance data and implement corrective strategies.
