Sales Manager – Hotel (Makkah)

About the role

The Hotel is seeking a Saudi Sales Manager to lead revenue generation and business development in Makkah. The role focuses on key segments such as Hajj, Umrah, corporate, government, groups, travel trade and local Saudi businesses, ensuring the property meets its annual revenue and occupancy targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan aligned with the hotel’s annual revenue and occupancy goals.
• Identify, pursue and secure new business across Hajj, Umrah, corporate, government, group and travel‑agency segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Saudi companies, government entities, Hajj and Umrah operators, and other strategic partners.
• Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, presentations and account reviews to grow the sales pipeline.
• Negotiate corporate, group and wholesale agreements within approved commercial guidelines.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Revenue teams to maximize room yield during peak and shoulder periods.
• Manage assigned key accounts, develop account plans and monitor performance against targets.
• Provide weekly updates on sales activities, pipeline status and confirmed business.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a proven track record in hotel sales, preferably within the Makkah market.
• Deep understanding of the Hajj and Umrah business landscape and related travel partners.
• Established network of contacts in Saudi corporate, government and travel sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue and occupancy growth.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Hajj and Umrah market dynamics.
• Experience negotiating corporate, group and wholesale contracts.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems to track client activities and sales opportunities.
• Ability to analyse competitor pricing, promotions and market trends.
