Sales Manager – Makkah (Hospitality)

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead revenue generation for a hotel in Makkah, focusing on Hajj, Umrah, corporate, government, and travel‑trade segments. Reporting to the Cluster Commercial Lead, the role requires a Saudi national with deep knowledge of the local hospitality market and strong relationships across key business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the hotel’s sales plan to meet annual revenue and occupancy targets.
• Identify and secure new business across Hajj, Umrah, corporate, government, groups, travel agencies and DMCs.
• Build and maintain relationships with Saudi companies, government entities, Hajj/Umrah operators and travel partners.
• Conduct sales calls, client meetings, presentations and account reviews.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and ensure timely follow‑up and conversion.
• Negotiate corporate, group and wholesale agreements within approved guidelines.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Revenue teams to maximise room yield during peak periods.

Required profile

• Saudi nationality.
• Minimum 36 months of sales experience in the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of the Makkah market and established local relationships.
• Proven ability to generate new business while retaining key accounts.
