Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Senior Accountant to lead our accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic decision‑making. The role combines hands‑on accounting operations with team leadership in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, guaranteeing accuracy, integrity and regulatory compliance of all financial records.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes, prepare financial statements and deliver reports for management review.
• Manage payment operations, banking activities, reconciliations and all employee‑ and supplier‑related financial transactions.
• Monitor budgets and financial performance, providing analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Saudi tax regulations, company policies and internal control requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, inventory verification and financial control processes to safeguard assets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve financial processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering high performance and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a QSR or multi‑branch environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, audits and month‑end closing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle.
• Valid SOCPA membership is required.
