Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant – Key Accounts

About the role

The client, a leading FMCG and food manufacturing company, seeks an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant to own the end‑to‑end receivables and collections cycle for its major retail and modern‑trade accounts. You will work closely with sales, trade marketing and finance teams to ensure timely cash flow and accurate customer records.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AR processes including invoicing, cash application, collections and customer reconciliations for hypermarkets, supermarkets and large retail chains.
• Follow up overdue payments, resolve invoice disputes, deductions and short‑payments.
• Monitor credit limits, customer balances and aging reports, and support month‑end closing, AR reporting, DSO and bad‑debt provisions.
• Coordinate with Sales and Trade Marketing on rebates, promotions, deductions and commercial claims.
• Maintain accurate customer master data and drive ERP/AR process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7 years of AR/Collections experience, with at least 3 years handling major retail/modern‑trade accounts.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or consumer‑goods environments, preferably with major retail chains in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

• Strong ERP proficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills.
