Senior Associate I, Accounts Receivable

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate I to join its Accounts Receivable team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will act as the primary contact for managing collections and performance of an assigned AR portfolio, supporting both regional and global finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect outstanding receivables in line with contract terms and customer payment schedules.
• Support reduction of bad‑debt expense through proactive aging analysis and collection.
• Identify high‑risk accounts and work with AR leadership to mitigate issues.
• Monitor customer payment performance, adjust credit limits and risk codes as needed.
• Resolve invoice disputes and collaborate with customers to improve AR performance.
• Assist the Cash Application team to ensure timely and accurate payment posting.
• Support month‑end close, reporting, and compliance for Credit & AR.
• Drive process improvements to increase cash‑collection efficiency.
• Act as SAP Subject Matter Expert and System Super User for the Saudi Arabia AR function.

Required profile

• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Understanding of credit principles within the healthcare industry.
• High analytical ability and keen attention to detail.
• Experience handling high‑profile, complex AR accounts.
• Ability to work both in office‑based AR operations and field collection activities.
• Fluency in English preferred.

Required skills

• SAP proficiency (subject matter expertise).
