Senior Audit & Assurance Professional – Riyadh

About the role

The Senior Audit professional will join Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice in Riyadh, focusing on manufacturing and industrial clients. You will build trust with stakeholders, deliver high‑quality audit services, and leverage emerging technologies such as AI to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and credibility with stakeholders by understanding their service expectations.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services while considering regulatory impact and risk management.
• Adapt referral instructions to define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centers of Excellence to coordinate delegated tasks.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and link risks, controls, and findings across the audit file.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.
• Apply AI tools in the audit context to improve efficiency, while exercising professional scepticism on AI‑generated outputs.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in public auditing and accounting, preferably with a Big Audit Firm.
• International accounting qualification desired (SOCPA, CA, ACCA, CPA).
• Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English preferred.
