Deloitte, a leading global professional services firm, is seeking a Senior Audit & Assurance professional based in Saudi Arabia. The role involves delivering high‑quality audit services, building stakeholder trust, and contributing to Deloitte’s purpose of making an impact that matters.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and credibility with stakeholders by understanding their service expectations.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services while considering regulatory and risk‑management impacts.
• Gather and analyse key statistics and industry information before engagements begin.
• Adapt referral instructions to clearly define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centers of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and assess their relevance.
• Link risks, controls, procedures and findings across audit files in a timely manner.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and demonstrate how they contribute to overall audit quality.
• Challenge audit plan timings and propose earlier execution where appropriate.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.
• Develop relationships beyond the finance function to better understand the client’s business.

Required profile

• Saudi national with several years of audit experience at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk‑management principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and provide clear documentation.
• Experience coordinating with global audit teams and managing complex audit engagements.
