Investment Analysis Director

About the role

Lead and oversee investment analysis activities to support strategic investment decisions and evaluate potential real estate and development opportunities. The role assesses investment feasibility, financial performance, risks and returns, and provides clear recommendations to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial and investment evaluation of real estate development projects and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee development and review of financial models, feasibility studies, business cases and return assessments.
• Evaluate key metrics such as IRR, NPV, ROI, cash flows, profitability and project returns.
• Conduct sensitivity, scenario and risk analysis to gauge impact of assumptions and market changes.
• Review project assumptions including development costs, revenues, pricing, financing and economics.
• Assess investment opportunities and recommend on financial viability, returns and associated risks.
• Prepare and present investment analysis and recommendations to senior management and committees.
• Monitor financial performance of approved investments against business cases and assumptions.
• Lead and develop the Investment Analysis team, ensuring quality and accuracy of analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment analysis, financial analysis or real estate investment.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, feasibility studies, valuation and investment analysis.
• Experience in real estate development and investment evaluation preferred.
• Strong analytical, leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
