Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (GCP)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, build, and support enterprise‑scale cloud environments. The role is hands‑on and focuses on infrastructure automation, secure landing zones, and DevOps best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise‑scale GCP environments.
• Build secure, scalable landing zones using Terraform and develop reusable modules.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform automation.
• Support cloud migration and application modernisation initiatives.
• Implement cloud networking, IAM, security, and governance best practices.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes (GKE) clusters.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver cloud‑native solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and provide technical guidance.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure or DevOps.
• Proven experience supporting large‑scale cloud migration and modernisation projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant Google Cloud certifications are a plus.
