Senior Compliance Auditor – Management

About the role

The Senior Compliance Auditor will lead comprehensive reviews of the company’s support functions, ensuring that HR, Finance, Customer Experience, Commercial, Procurement and other departments operate in line with regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute risk and compliance audit projects according to the annual audit plan and risk assessment.
• Participate in the risk assessment process and help develop the annual audit plan.
• Assist the Regional Internal Audit Manager in creating a Regional Risk Prioritization Matrix and audit approach for regional visits.
• Coordinate resources with other internal audit units to target key risk areas.
• Prepare audit scope, objectives and background documentation for each regional audit.
• Conduct interviews, review documents, create process flowcharts, administer surveys and compile summary memos.
• Perform independent walk‑throughs and field testing to evaluate control effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Identify internal control weaknesses, non‑compliance issues and improvement opportunities.
• Draft findings, practical recommendations and corrective action plans.
• Prepare audit reports that clearly document objectives, conclusions and actionable recommendations.
• Review working papers to ensure they support audit scope and objectives.
• Maintain adherence to IIA professional standards and continuously seek more efficient audit techniques.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in internal audit, risk assessment and compliance testing.
• Strong ability to identify control weaknesses and regulatory gaps.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings.
• Proactive attitude toward professional development and adoption of new audit methodologies.
