Senior Consultant – AI Governance & Cybersecurity (Riyadh)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead AI governance and cyber‑risk initiatives for its clients in Riyadh. You will work with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and operationalise AI governance frameworks that meet global and local regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI Governance Frameworks, including policies, standards, operating models and control libraries.
• Conduct AI risk assessments across the model lifecycle and evaluate third‑party AI vendor risks, including GenAI tooling, data residency and contractual assurances.
• Perform readiness and gap assessments against ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act and local regulators such as CBUAE, SAMA, SDAIA, DIFC/ADGM.
• Build AI inventories, risk taxonomies and use‑case classification schemes, defining risk tiering and escalation thresholds.
• Translate regulatory obligations into actionable controls for first‑ and second‑line owners.
• Assess model documentation, bias, fairness, explainability and human‑oversight mechanisms.
• Leverage market‑leading platforms to automate AI governance workflows, assessments and compliance reporting.
• Facilitate workshops and client‑focused sessions to deliver work‑stream outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, Law, Risk Management or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in risk, technology assurance, cyber security, data governance or regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, risk management frameworks and emerging technology regulations.
