Senior High Precision Grinder (Ceramic Components)

About the role

We are establishing a new manufacturing capability in Saudi Arabia to produce high‑precision ceramic components for energy recovery devices. As a Senior High Precision Grinder you will set‑up, run and continuously improve CNC grinding processes to achieve tight dimensional tolerances and flawless surface integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and optimise ID/OD, surface and form grinding of advanced ceramics.
• Program and adapt CNC grinding equipment, select and dress diamond/CBN wheels, and manage dry/wet grinding strategies.
• Prepare machines, fixtures and tooling, perform in‑process checks and adjust feeds, speeds and coolant delivery.
• Use precision metrology tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, optical comparators, profilometers and, where applicable, CMMs.
• Record inspection data, support SPC and capability studies, and maintain required documentation.
• Follow ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and ensure strict HSE compliance.
• Carry out routine maintenance, wheel dressing, balancing and coolant filtration checks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning and Operations teams in a fast‑moving start‑up environment.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in precision machining or grinding of ceramics.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental practices.
