Senior IBM Datacap Administrator / Developer

About the role

Our partner is looking for a Senior IBM Datacap Administrator / Developer based in Saudi Arabia. This is a hands‑on opportunity for an experienced IBM Datacap professional to contribute to the development and evolution of an enterprise document‑processing platform. The role spans Datacap development, platform administration, integrations, troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and production support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain IBM Datacap applications, including rulesets, tasks, actions, workflows, and validation rules.
• Configure and optimize OCR, document classification, data extraction, and batch‑processing capabilities.
• Install, configure, administer, and monitor Datacap environments across Development, Test, QA, UAT, and Production.
• Troubleshoot Datacap Server, Rulerunner, Studio, and Navigator issues such as failed batches, OCR errors, and workflow failures.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle: requirements analysis, sprint planning, development, testing, deployment, and post‑deployment support.
• Develop and support integrations using REST, SOAP, databases, and enterprise content repositories, including IBM FileNet P8.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on IBM Datacap experience, preferably with Datacap 9.x/9.1.x.
• Proven expertise in Datacap Studio development and Rulerunner administration.
• Strong knowledge of document capture, OCR, classification, extraction, and validation processes.
• Experience administering Datacap across multiple environments and performing production troubleshooting.
• Solid SQL skills and experience integrating Datacap with databases and REST/SOAP services.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, IIS, and Agile product development methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
