Senior ICT Applications Developer

About the role

Saudi Telecom Company is looking for a Senior ICT Applications Developer to ensure the quality and reliability of its software solutions. The role focuses on testing application changes against requirements and design specifications, aiming to deliver top‑class software for stakeholders and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Understand requirements and solution documents to define clear test scope.
• Document test cases and procedures, and execute tests manually and automatically.
• Design and generate comprehensive test plans.
• Automate and run test cases, manage defects, and report testing status to product teams.
• Utilise best‑in‑class test automation and defect management tools.
• Apply best practices to devise test methodologies and strategies that ensure full requirement coverage.
• Create and execute automated system tests that replicate real‑world business scenarios.
• Capture, analyze, and report test results.
• Identify, isolate, and track bugs, performing root‑cause analysis and opening detailed defect reports.
• Collaborate closely with development and quality assurance teams.
• Produce traceability matrices linking user stories or business requirements to automated test cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and independent thinking abilities.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
