Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer to manage and support a complex hybrid infrastructure environment. The role involves overseeing servers, virtualization, networking, cloud platforms, security controls and on‑premises systems, while troubleshooting complex issues and driving improvements in availability, performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support physical and virtual Windows and Linux server environments, including virtualization, storage and backup infrastructure.
• Operate and maintain hybrid cloud and on‑premises infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance and capacity.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise networks (switches, access points, VLANs, routing, wireless).
• Support firewalls, load balancers, VPNs and network‑security solutions.
• Provide advanced operational support for Cisco ISE, CCTV and related on‑premises infrastructure.
• Monitor infrastructure health and proactively resolve performance, availability and security issues.
• Lead resolution of complex incidents and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Implement infrastructure hardening, cybersecurity controls, vulnerability remediation and patching.
• Assess existing infrastructure, identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Maintain diagrams, configuration records, SOPs and recovery documentation.
• Support backup, restoration, business continuity and disaster recovery activities.
• Coordinate with cloud, telecommunications providers and technology vendors.
• Participate in projects and technical change‑management activities.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in infrastructure operations, system administration and/or enterprise networking.
• Strong hands‑on experience with hybrid cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues and lead incident resolution.
